I received a letter dated June 14, 2007, from Star Financial Group Inc. It says the following:

Award Claim Final Notification

This is to inform you of the official release of the 2007 Australian Sweepstakes Lottery held on April 27, 2007, in the 2nd category.

A ticket with serial numbers FC/A-01984688599 attached to your name drew the lucky numbers 7-13-15-21-29-36-47.
We've made many unsuccessful attempts to contact your regarding this winning. You are entitled to the sum of $50,000 USD. This if from total prize of $500,000 USD that was shared and presented amount the 10 declared winners. Please note that all the participants were selected through a random computer ballot system drawn from over 500 names.

Your claim number is CA/JH-1013 and in accordance with our disbursement policy your prize award money has been forwarded to our clearing/ disbursement institution to release your funds to your either by certify check or money order or wire transfer to your designated local bank account which you will provide.

To expedite the processing, enclosed is a check of $2500.00 USD which has been deducted from your winning. You will be using some money on this first check to pay for the applicable taxes on your $50,000 USD.
