I decided to sign up with a binary broker website. One of the websites was Starling Capital. I deposited US$300 by credit card. I was contacted by one of their brokers who said he would help me learn to trade. He tried to upsell me to a larger account. His idea of qualifying me was to see how much credit I had left on my credit card. He told me about how he was going to charge my credit card $5,000 for 30 days and then refund it to my credit card. We could then continue trading with my "profits". I asked him to send me information by email and he refused. Then I asked him to return my $300 and he got insulted and had a hysterical meltdown and began yelling and insulting me about my "lousy three hundred dollars". The call was disconected by him.  A few days later his "manager" called, assured me that the former broker would be censured and we continued our conversation. He gave me a few trial trades which, as I suspected, were shams. I asked him how he knows to buy "up" or "down" and he treats me like an idiot and tells me he has been in "business for many years"  and maybe he'll tell me next week, suggesting after I put more money into my account. "These trades will make me a lot of money" he says and then I will want to invest more with him. Long story short, ALL his trades lost. (He had me place several "entry points") He says he will call me back in half hour after the trades expire. He never called. Today I log in and see the trades that I placed all lost and then I see ANOTHER trade for $150 that I never authorized that also lost. This last trade depleted my entire account. I give Starling Capital a zero for honestly and truthfullness and a ten for being a scam. OK, I made a mistake and he gave me some bad trades but then There is the other trade for $150 that wipes out my account in retribution for not letting the first guy upsell me. That goes beyond the binary scam where I lose the money myself. It crosses the line into pure theft.
