Starpoint Resort Group Un-professional in greeting guests and making them wait. Las Vegas Nevada

My wife and I attended a presentation at the Plaza Resort in Palm Springs, CA. We had to approach the table that appeared to be the place to register or let them know we were there a few minutes early for our appointment. Peter Wailes (Co. Rep) greeted us and asked us to have a seat (comfortable sofa in the lobby of the hotel) and said someone would be with us in a few minutes.

There were no refreshments to help ease the waiting time which turned out to be 30 minutes. No signs indicating the table we approached was the right place. It was very unprofessional from the start to the end.

When we were invited to a table (in the lobby- no privacy) that was next to another table with guests being high pressured ( I qoute ". . . I understand how you can say no to me, but how can you say no to such a good deal"). Not very conducive to conducting a business conversation. We had to insist on getting a tour of the facility. It was not offered. In fact, we insisted because another couple told us they did not get a tour. The place smelled like a Nursing Home.

The best is coming. When we were ready to leave and collect our promised gifts, ALAS! They had run out due to so many people coming to the presentations, so they gave us a rain check and the rep's business card.

The phone number on the business card has been disconnected or changed. Looking up the Company on the internet, I called their home office and no one answered. The message mentioned the voice box was full - good bye.

So it looks like this company is a big time scam. Others have reported similar reports of over promising and under-delivering. So glad we did not make any purchase of a time share.
