Starrs Cars RIP OFF, SCAM ARTISTS Perry, Ohio

My Mother needed to buy a car. 

I told her that my husband and I would meet her at Starr's Cars in Perry so my husband could check out the vehicles to see which ones were mechanicly sound....

She was already on a test drive when we had arrived.   

Now she had told Jason or who ever the owner is,   that her son in law was coming to look at the cars she liked  before she was going to purchase one.....So he con'd  her into giving him a deposit in CASH BEFORE we got there.  

And of course her being older and nieive she gave him 500 dollars in CASH and then when my husband looked at the car she had test drove he told her NO WAY, it's junk not to buy it.  

So she started to look at other vehicles and the owner told her that the 500 dollars was only good for that car she test drove!!!    That she would loose that deposit and  have to pay him another deposit for anything else.   And HE WOULDNT GIVE HER MONEY BACK!!!!! 

So my husband and I went inside to try and talk to him and he had someone else come to tell us that they were calling the police if we didn't leave so my husband said good that we want to talk to them so we can tell them how he just stole 500 dollars from my mom. 

We ended up leaving the car lot after awhile and went straight to the police but since she paid in CASH and had NO RECIEPT , and or CONTRACT that there is not any proof , but they could go talk to him.  Which they did go and talk to the owner and of course he lied and said she put down a deposit for a car for him to hold just for her and now she doesnt want it and by law he could keep it.

but that wasnt the case and without any reciept  and or contract there was NOTHING she could do.

So that's the type of business he is running.  Taking advamtage & money from ANYONE he CAN!!!!!
