Startup Essentials..... A-1 Leasing..... Bond Corp These companies are a scam...BEWARE...once in can't get out!!! Grand Rapids Michigan

We too received a phone call. The person was Rita Echols (4455 LBJ Freeway, Suite 502, Dallas TX, 75244) and our contact person was to be Tony Jackson.

During the call there was pressure to sign up now or the opportunity would be lost. We initialled all the appropriate boxes on the on-line leasing form, the preprogrammed computer arrived and we started the education course. Everything seemed to be real until we tried to get some support. That is when all hell broke out. This occurred about 4 months into the "business course". We tried emails, no answers. Phone calls and the numbers we have are no longer in service.

We stopped paying the monthly fee of $156.58 to the leasing company, A-1 Leasing. They sent us a threatening letter and so we contacted them. His name, Steve Meil. He says the lease we signed is a noncancellable lease and if we don't continue to pay it will be sent to the credit reporting companies. We told him we signed for a 3 year support system through startup essentials and that the contract was not fulfilled so they broke the lease. He says they are not affiliated with startup essentials.

I don't feel there is any way to resolve this situation. Steve Meil says he would settle for an additional $2900.00. Which would mean we invested a total of $3996.06 for NOTHING other than a laptop that would have cost $399.00 filled with useless programs.
