I was contacted from an individual claiming to be from the state attorney general's office. This person then connected me to another individual claiming to be an attorney who the proceeded to read the charges filed against me.
I had a hard time understanding both of the individual's English and sine this was such an important matter, I asked to speak to someone that I could understand. All I got was silence. Of the words I could make out this "attorney" was offering me a way to take care of this before I was arrested.
When I asked for the name of the person in charge, I was given the name Brandon Gabriel. A quick internet search showed that this name was attached to a phone scam of the same nature. I asked for the name of the person I was talking to and he told me his name was Robin Smith. I informed him that I would be filing a claim against them and he hung up.
