I have filed several complaints against two lawyers in Dallas Texas that have grossly violated the Professional Code of Coduct set forth by the State Bar of Texas. These lawyers are Thomas Kiel Boone of Boone Boone and Phillips and his sidekick buddy, Paul Talmage Boston Jr. of Winstead, Sechrest. My complaints have included submitting fraudulent claims to the Dallas district Courts to subornating clients to lie in court documents to intimidate their opposition.

The State Bar bizarelly does not believe that this violates their own reules they set forth to protect the public. Instead, the State Bar of Texas likes to give awards out to Mr. Boston and cozy up to lawyers who scratch their backs. I have complained about this "Good Ole Boy system" but it is so staunched with deep roots in Texas it does no good.

I gues the State Bar of Texas like lawyers who openly lie in court and in their fraud facts they produce in petitions to intimidate people to get their way.

Dishonest Dallas Lawyers

AUTHOR: Trudy Sword - (United States of America)

POSTED: Thursday, April 22, 2010
If you have a personal injury case ALWAYS get the Medpay/PIP money you are offered by the insurance company yourself BEFORE you see an attorney.  Otherwise they will get to it, get it and you probably will never know they did.  Many use a pump and dump type of scheme and if you have been offered this money, they will be more than happy to take your case to get it.  Then dump you later if they can't get a good enough settlement offer. They are not supposed to be doing this (according to my consultation with the Bar) but they do.  You are signing a contingency fee contract which says they are supposed to be financing the costs, etc. and don't get anything if you don't, but they aren't really financing anything since they have already been paid up front by stealing this from you.  Unless you find out about it they won't tell you and probably don't even include it in the "split."

I don't know about a class action against the Bar but it would probably be good against some of the firms.  You can research their past (and present) clients through the Courts.  What a racket this is.  I don't know how these people can live with themselves taking advantage of the hurt and disabled who come to them for help and are trusting and believing they are looking out for their best interests.  I feel better knowing they will eventually pay for it 100 fold.

The State Bar of Texas Doesn't Discipline Attorneys. Why do tax-payers pay their salaries?

AUTHOR: Deedee - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Monday, February 02, 2009

Sam, The State Bar of Texas doesn't discipline attorneys who commit state-jail felonies. I hired attorney Ilene Smoger after a car accident (the chiropractor who was treating me referred me to her, really bad mistake of my part). They committed insurance fraud by double-billing both my car and health insurance for the same services, and the check my car insurance sent to Ilene Smoger and me to pay for the money I had spent out of pocket with the chiropractors, she told me to sign it over to the chiropractor, Lee Moses. He cashed my check. That is insurance fraud, embezzlement and state-jail felonies, and it is considered Professional Malpractice in accordance to the Rules. I fired her, she put a lien on my case, filed a grievance and had the hearing. During the hearing they stated that she stole my money (their words), and after that, the State Bar of Texas sent me a letter saying that Ilene Smoger didn't do anything wrong (!). That woman is still practicing in Dallas with a clean record and winning awards. I contacted several politicians, the Attorney General and the Governor. Nobody cares. Why is that they get paid in tax-payers money if they refuse to do their job? Any other person who refuses to do his/her job and obstructs justice gets fired with just cause. Why not these public servant who refuse to serve the public and only serve their own private interests? Who knows how many more people are in our same position, being robbed by attorneys and having those attorneys get away with their crimes because the State Bar of Texas is nothing more than a country club for shysters. Do you know if it's possible to sue this branch of the government for not doing their job and obstructing justice? Do you know if it's possible to file a class-action suit against the State Bar of Texas? We are not the only two people victimized by shysters because the State Bar of Texas refuses to uphold the laws and lets them commit crimes. Nobody from the public can know whether the lawyer they're hiring is a shyster because all of them have clean records. Ilene Smoger is not the only dishonest attorney I've encountered in Dallas. Would you like to get in contact with me? I would like to file a class-action lawsuit against the State Bar of Texas. They are not doing their job of protecting the public against shysters. They are protecting those shysters, and therefore the State Bar of Texas shouldn't be supported by tax-payers money.
I filed my own ripoff report about the State Bar of Texas, but I want to spread the word and warn other potential victims. The State Bar of Texas doesn't discipline attorneys who commit crimes and allows shysters to practice with clean records. The public has the right to know when an attorney committed crimes, and the State bar of Texas doesn't have the right to break the law.

My Dear Floflo.....

AUTHOR: Sam - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Friday, November 07, 2008

Here you go again with more lies. To begin, when a court document is wantonly filed with false pleadings, that's a HUGE NO NO. Courts don't like it and judges don't appreciate such filings. It's called Bad Candor toward the court. To be more specific, it is a violation of the Texas Rules of Civil Procedure 13. Look it up. The suit was filed with several misrepresentations and if you need an example, here is one for you to ponder. "Defendant claimed to have a permit but, in fact, did not." Well floflo9, I just happen to have that permit right now in my hand, and dated 5/12/2005. Thomas Boone in his letter to the Town of Highland Park (and by the way on his law firm's letterhead) written on 5/12/2005 stated that "Mr. ........(i.e., me) has obtained a permit and has begun building a fence." Yet how is it that in the suit filed on June 22, 2005, it is claimed by the petitinioner Dorothy F, Boone, "Defendant claimed to have a permit but, in fact, did not." I have the documents, just facts here, sweetie. You are entitled to your opinion, just as I am, that is what is so great about our constitutional rights. but facts are facts, and they are what they are. I'm sure you have heard many things from someone we both know and have found out other things, but that is just the problem. Any good person in any profession would not go around blabbing former clients' business. A thought for you to think about. I could also call up the Chief legal counsel for the Texas State Bar in Austin, Tx (Mr. John Neal), and explain that his agency has stated according to you on this blog that "they realized that not only was Sam off his rocker, but he had not reason to file these reports" but you are just angry. If you need further proof of how you lie, then everyone can go to report # 187045 and read the updates by me for your other post of lies (remember, you claimed things that were said by the HP Police...about me). I invite you again to read the response from the Town Attorney. Go ahead, it is really some gooooooooood reading. I wish you the best Floflo9, but you need help. I will pray for you, and please say hello to Tom and his mom and I hope they enjoy the few inches of land they received out of the kindness of my heart back in 2005.

Boone Boone and Phillips Truth!

AUTHOR: Floflo9 - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Saturday, August 09, 2008

The lawyers accussed in "Sam's" ridiculous report are not only good attorneys but great individuals. I have reecntly used their services and have been impressed with their professional attidude but also with their dedication to each case.

I found some information about why Sam decided to make these allegations against Thomas Boone and his co workers! Sam lives next door to Thomas Boone's 87 year old widowed mother. There was a dispute about land boundaries and natually Thomas Boone (being a real estate lawyer) tried to politely work out the situation. Sam proceeded to call the police on the 87 year old woman numerous times for her walking on his lawn to water her flowers or when the AC company that she was using parked in front of his house.

I also found out that years ago, Sam was having a dispute with another neighbor about land and asked Mr. Boone for some advice. Mr. Boone gave Sam free advice and tried to help him out.

When Thomas Boone's mother had to sue Sam, Sam used the fact that Mr. Boone had helped him years before against Mr. Boone. Sam claimed that he was a client of Mr. Boone and that this was a lawyer suing his client. Ridiculous

Thomas Boone did the right thing. Tried to protect his elderly widowed mother! Sam decided to file complaints about Thomas Boone and his co worker to the State Bar of Texas. Of course, once the state bar looked in to his allegations, they realized that not only was Sam off his rocker, but he had not reason to file these reports.

Long story short, do not believe this rip off report. These are good lawyers, who give back to their community when ever they can. I just heard that Thomas Boone is dedicates his time on various mission trips and being a missionary at a Dallas jail and bringing the word of God to inmates!

Sorry Sam, I think you lost this one!
Thanks

State Bar of Texas=Puppets for lawyers

AUTHOR: Sam - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Sunday, January 14, 2007

Amy L. Agnew, an attorney for the Dallas Branch of the State Bar of Texas should just go to work for the lawyers she protects. Ms. Agnew is not seasoned and is just out of UT Law school and is handling complaints beyond her capability. Ms. Agnew apparently has not read the Professional Code of Conduct set for lawyers because she dismisses serious complaints (ie, lying, fraudulant claims in petitions and on and on).

Ms. Agnew also likes to hang up on you when she can't handle the truth about her dismissals. Why doesn't the State Bar keep a history of complaints if there dismissed? Oh, I know, now, because they want to keep the crooked lawyers here in Dallas in business and scratch their backs and pretend that The State Bar is protecting the public. Kinda like the scam going on at the Better Business Bureau's in metroloitan cities.

What a BUNCH of JUNK!!! It's time to get real and go after the snakes but the State Bar of Texas is so scared to because if they get fired from the State Bar job or quit, then no other law firm will hire them as payback for upgrading their complaints. Now that's the truth.

State Bar is nothing more than Puppets for lawyers - Bar members and lawyers scratch each others back

AUTHOR: Sam - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Saturday, January 13, 2007

Amy L. Agnew's, in my opinion, is nothing more than a "puppet" who makes excuses not to proceed with inquiries against lawyers when serious complaints are filed.

Ms. Agnew makes excuses about why complaints are not upgraded and needs to go elsewhere to work because she is no help to the public.

My final though is that if anyone is counting on the State Bar of Texas to help you, then don't count on it and it will be a waste of your time. You should just proceed with a malpractice lawsuit as I plan for my results.

Bottom line, the State Bar is just a weak organization where Bar members and lawyers scratch each others back, period.
