State Farm Auto Insurance, Larry Hoak State Farm likes to put fake information in their system and cancel your insurance because of it. Bloomington Illinois

I lived with a friend in Ambler, PA. In march of 08, I decided that it was cheaper for me to go on his policy through a insurance company through his credit union. I was using state farm before I met him, and never had any problems with them. Since my policy expired in march, I just decided not to extend my policy another 6 months. It would have saved us both a lot of money.

unfortunatly, I dont remember the name of the insurance company. I lived with my friend, until things got sour. I decided it was best for me to move out. Before moving out, my friend took all of my insurance information out of my car, and closed all of our bank accounts, which made it a mess for me. I had to get insurance ASAP because I was afraid my friend had canceled my insurance and I would be driving my car illegally without any insurance. So I called State Farm back up and talked to Barbara who works for Larry Hoak's office of Collegeville, PA. When I went there, I setup my insurance again and explained to her that I could not remember the insurance company's name and she said that was fine. I got everything set up and I was on my way. About a month later, I get a letter from state farm saying that since I had no proof of insurance, that they were canceling my insurance. I talked to my agent and of course she told me there was nothing she could do. Apparently, she put fake previous insurance information in the system. So I had about 2 weeks to try to find another insurance company, which I did. I was a customer with them for 3 years and I have not had an accident in over 6 years, or a ticket in 4. I just can't believe the amount of headache and frustration these people have caused me and had no explanation why. I would stay far and clear from this company if you can.
