Warning - do not purchase gift cards from any of the many Station Casinos…unless they are to be used promptly.
We tried to pay for our dinner with a $100.00 Station Casinos gift card at Red Rock last week, and it was summarily rejected...not even worth a tooth pick!
Red Rock Station Casino management informed us, regardless of value, each card must be used at least once within 30 days of purchase.
And, they also deduct $10.00 an “administrative fee” to keep track of how much they owe for each following month. This is allegedly stated on the back of the card (probably in fine print of course).
They certainly did not reveal this practice to us when the card was purchased. This means it is possible to lose the entire value of the card within only 30 days!!!! What a rip-off. We wonder if a bankruptcy issue really Station Casinos this badly.
This has really torqued our jaws - We are locals, will be reposting this comment on various web sites, and will be recommending family and friend visitors to Las Vegas avoid all Station Casinos.

We are sorry about your experience. We would be willing to look at your card and try to determine the exact situation. All of our cards are available for use for 12 months. After twelve (12) months and continuing monthly thereafter until the remaining balance on the card reaches zero, the issuer shall charge a monthly card account maintenance fee of ten dollars ($10) per month.
While this does not resolve your experience, we are willing to look into your card specifically and seek a solution for you.
