Placed an order for a gift to be sent to a friend - hat and t-shirt - after non-performance followed up in 45 days. . . told one of the items was backordered, but would be in within the week. If order cancelled they'd charge a 15% cancelation fee AND $5 refund processing fee. Waited >six months keying in the order tracking to see that nothing had ever been shipped. When inquiring, Sam Haymart had the audacity to give me the same response - the long backordered item is expected in any day. This operation has SCAM written all over it.

This customer obviously had a terrible experience with this company I owned some years ago. During the time this order was reported we had terrible problems with special order items, backorders, and issues that often fell through the cracks. We had a stated policy that was agreed to by all customers online regarding refunds and fees for special order items. In most cases we worked with our customers to resolve disputes, but there is always some that cannot be worked with. This report mentiones me personally, however I had little interaction with customers and in the last year or so I owned this business, little direct management. Thus while I take responsibility for the fact this customer is unhappy, I take exception to being accused of fraud.
