CALLING FOR A CLASS ACTION LAWSUIT AGAINST STEELE 

Andrew and Garbriel Steele are running a business front that is stealing hundreds and potentially thousands of dollars from people every day. If you’ve been ripped off by them like I have, don’t be afraid to complain. Share your story online, report their ads as a "scam" to Kijiji and Craig’s List. Report to CBC and get them the negative publicity they deserve. Do not be intimidated by these frauds.

STEELE’S  – TAKE THE MONEY AND RUN – POLICY

Not only does Steele Management not advertise their $90 up front fee, they also have a very strict “no refund” policy. Unashamedly, they’re taking advantage of students, people for whom English is a second language, and any other honest people just looking for extra paying work. Their waiver states that you can ask for a refund if they provide you with no work opportunities after a year but most likely, they will just close-up shop and declare bankruptcy, or change their business name.

STEELE’S CROOKED POLICIES that have passed as acceptable by the BBB

Steele has tried to silence and discredit many of the complaints against them by sighting their compliance with the Better Business Bureau. And yes, they have covered their a*s with the BBB apparently, but here’s just some of what people are complaining about:

***All Steele has to do is send you an email in the next year offering you a few hours of work and regardless if you’re available for it or not, they’re off the hook. But here's the hook – there is no work.***

• Steele only takes cash – but won’t give a refund.
• Steele has no refund policy stated on their website whatsoever.
• Steele doesn’t mention their name when advertising.
• Steele operates their business with a Gmail account and uses multiple phone numbers and addresses
• Steele charges a $90 admin fee and then try and upsell people to much more expensive photo packages at hundreds of dollars – with still no guarantee of work.
• The (potential) day of extra work they’re offering wouldn’t even cover the admin fee.

I’ve worked with professional talent agencies before but I had a bad feeling about these guys right from the beginning. For some reason I ignored it though. Perhaps because like a lot of people these days, I was a little too eager to find some extra paying work. There are reputable agencies out there. This isn’t one of them. This is a scam to sell photo packages and offers nothing in return.
