Just like the other Cubase owners, Steinberg has failed to support its problems with copy protection it places on software, rendering your investment completely useless. I had a problem with my "USB key" that you need to have its software operate properly. Despite literally dozens of attempts to reach someone, they have to call you back. I received 1 call and they left a message. Never happened again. They have no call back number. Look at their website.

Regarding the "mysteinberg" account you are supposed to have, mine doesn't work. Nobody answers support requests there either. You are totally locked out of their forums.

Ask yourself any time you invest money in anything why a company would barricade itself like this against customers. It is a warning sign telling you that an investment in Cubase or any Steinberg product is a disastrous idea.

It's amazing that in this day and age, there is nothing you can do when a company like Yamaha aka Steinberg - the makers of Cubase - provide no support at all and simply take your money and shut you out. Just pray that you don't have a problem - because if you do, and it happens more often than you think - you'll be just like myself and several others here with a lost investment.

I've since written it off and moved onto other software like Presonus StudioOne, Reaper and Sonar X1. All of these companies are reachable, even if it takes some effort at times. You'll be far more productive than this corrupt company.
