This company's unethical accountant-JAY CLITHERO claims he is a business partner/owner. They do not allow you to have a key or access to your belonging without an appointment, and when you finally realize they had been charging your credit card unauthorized for various amounts at random times, you will want to close your account. When you do close your account, you will realize half of your things are missing or stolen, but the waiver of liability prevents you from being able to do much more than file a grand theft claim with the police department. DO NOT USE STERLING VANLINES. THEY ARE A SCAM

This complaint about Sterling Van Lines was obviously made by someone who was not a customer but more likely a competitor. None of these are practices we engage in. There are no keys to storage vaults in moving company warehouses. If we had a theft problem then we would not have survived for 23 years. These things simply did not happen and I am amazed at how easy it is to just go on line and say things that are not true.

This is not a customer that we have every had.
Standard storage in moving company warehouses do not have keys.
This is a made up story from someone, possibly a competitor but it is not an activity we would ever engage in.
