This man named Steve Clarke seemed really legit. I found the ad about a 12 week old rottweiler female puppy and it said that he lived in Ball Ground, Georgia. Well in the email he said that he lives in NY. That threw up a red flag. He seemed nice and was greiving the loss of his wife and son.
He only wanted me to pay 250 for shipping through Western Union to World Wide Pet Shipping Cargo. He gave me a fake cell phone number. I called the number and it was an audible communication center I knew then it was a scam.
The pet delivery service called me about the puppy and said they would send her as soon as I paid the money. I tried to call the number back and it had been disconnected. I emailed steve clarke and told him I knew it was a scam and he denied it.
I asked him did the pet delivery have a URL or website and he never responded. I'm so glad I found out it was a scam before I sent any money to the man.
The pet delivery email said to Western Union to this information:
Name: Mrs. Nono Olivia
Country: Cameroon
City: Douala
Zip Code: 00237

Why not adopt a stray?

There are so few homes for so many stray animals. Why do people insist on trying to buy animals, which even if they exist instead of just being part of a scam are likely to be bred in horrible circumstances.
