Steve Goldschmied from Newport Investments LLC a Utah based LLC, operating out of his home in Coto De Casa Orange County Ca. Poses as an REO investor and tries to sell properties that he does not own. He promised to show us how to flip these so called REO's he sold us. He showed us pictures of these homes that were not current after the fact we found out they were completely destroyed homes. It has been a year since the transaction and no deeds have been recorded. So we can't sell something that doesn't belongs to us. We were trying to sell just the land and hope to recover something. But back taxes on these properties were more than any amount we could ever get for the properties. He is a liar scam artist who will take your money and promise you what ever it takes. It is time people become aware of this fraud he is committing to people who tried to help him. The only way he can do these transactions is by doing double escrow so beware of these transactions. He doesn't own any of these REO. Please get Title insurance because he told us we wouldn't need it. And that was because he was scamming us the whole time. Beware of any escrow company he works with they are in on it. He will lie and tell you whatever he needs to, to gain your trust. He cleverly words his contracts and makes you take all the risks. All I can say is Scum Bag Scam Artist who cannot be trusted.
