Contacted by this person under the username steve883 on dating website OKCupid.com. He claims to be Steve Lahm Wilson, widowed 2 yrs ago (wife had kidney cancer), parents dead 5 yrs ago, 5 yr old daughter named (((redacted))) that goes to boarding school and has a nanny. He says he is am architectural (construction) engineer, self contractor. Phone number from where he is texting (((redacted))) (seems to be a landline somewhere in NYC), he called once over the phone to talk using the number (((redacted))) (seems to be a landline somwhere in Queens). His name is not registered on the website for registered professionals in NY. 

Asked to communicate with me out of the site right away. He erased his profile within 2-3 days from contacting me. Claimed to be completely in love with me without meeting me in person within 10 days of contacting me. Texted mostly very late at night (my time) between 11-12pm. He had agree to visit me 2 weeks after suddenly stopping communicating. That's when I was able to corroborate he is a scammer by google'ing the photos he sent me (images.google.com). He's being reported in 3 websites worldwide. There are tons of photos of this man on those sites (the scammer really stole a life long photo album from the guy in the photos). A week later, today, I got a text message from his number saying (and I quote with typos included) "Steve has been in comma for the past days, he has been responding to treatment gradually. He will text you when is has fully recovered".

I'm reporting this with the hope no one out there falls into this scam as his name can't be found on the internet or any information for that matter. No doubt, he contacted a lot of women at the same time and is getting ready to ask for money. Please, ladies, take care of yourselves! Love yourself enough not to believe in empty words and promises. Like dear Steve Lahm Wilson would say: "love from the tongue is deceit". I really hope this helps!
