I too, had a similar experience with this con artist, STEVE MINH! He is ridiculous! Not only is he luring unsuspecting girls to his rooms, but he interviewed me to assist him in his casino host job. He explained to me that he needed my help in luring "whales" aka rich men into the high rollers section of the casino and distract them while he gave them educated guesses with their money for both blackjack and poker.
I read your ad on craigslist and I regret not reading it sooner!
I was contacted by Steve Min after I replied to a massage therapist ad on craigslist. My cell phone rang at 6:15 am, and I thought "Who calls people for business purposes before 9am?"
He was calling from a Pennsylvania area code so I picked up. I thought to myself hey..maybe it's a job.
So he tells me that he is impressed by my resume, blah blah. Long story short, I agree to meet with him and give him a massage audition at the Southpoint.
* I have been a massage therapist for six years. The first person to hire me was a chiropractor who came to my house for a massage. I also work for two outcall agencies - To get hired, I went to a hotel to meet Agency Owner #1, and I went to the home of Agency Owner #2 for massage auditions. So meeting someone to audition for a massage job did not raise my red flags...
Steve Min wanted to see me immediately. I told him that I lived in the far Northwest, the opposite side of town. He told me he needed someone that could start immediately and that he would give me plenty of work, that I could even start today. I drove 45 minutes to the Southpoint and waited for him in front of hotel registration. I brought my table and supplies with me.
He presents himself and we sit and talk for a while. He asked me very legitimate massage questions ( hours of anatomy, physiology, regular clientele, day spa experience...again, nothing that made me want to run the other way. ). I noticed that he was dressed rather poorly, shabby.
He asks me to follow him to his room, which I had no problem with. I could totally kick a*s if I had to. I learned self defense techniques and always carry a concealed stun gun on my person. He was very thin and small framed, so he did not intimidate me at all. I could've cracked him in half over a bent knee.The way you described him was precise!
While he is opening his hotel room door, I call one of my Bosses on my cell phone to let her know where I am, who I was with, and how long I would be in there. He did not flinch.
As I am setting up my table, he asks if I know any Asian techniques. I tell him I am certified in Shiatsu, Thai, and trigger point therapy. This is where things got CREEPY!!!!
I tell him to please undress, and to lie face down under the sheet while I go wash my hands. When I come back, he is undraped and fully nude, sitting on the massage table, looking at me. I walk over and he lies down, but tells me he does not want to be draped - I think, ok..whatever...this is Vegas, I have massaged hundreds of people, and most did not like to be draped, even some of the celebrities. So no draping...which to this moment I regret. I have since had a hard time eating anything because I was not prepared for his nude skeleton-like body, nor was I prepared for his pubic hair that was long enough to braid, nor was I prepared for the crusty, gaping anus that seemed to hang from his body. I just threw up in my mouth a little bit.
I start giving him a legitimate massage, and he tells me that the massage position is really "not necessary", that I would make more money as a "casino host". I told him I was not interested and within seconds I immediately stopped the massage because he started moaning and slapping his own a*s cheek. WTF???
I loudly told him to "GET THE F*CK OFF MY TABLE". He hesitated, telling me that he wanted a sensual massage from me. I walked towards the door and told him that I would get Hotel Security to come back for my table and cart. He quickly jumped up and dressed, and was literally jumping all over the place, bouncing off the walls! I took my massage cart and used it to keep the door wide open. I packed up my table and left, calling him every name in the book and thanking him for such an incredible waste of my time.
Later that night, I saw your ad and one other ( it has since been flagged, probably by him ) warning people about who he is and what he is about. Like I said, I regret not seeing it sooner. This man did not do anything illegal or criminal - Creepy? Yes! Immoral? Yes! But he did nothing that would justify a police report filed against him - does it?
I handled the situation as best I could, but I fear that he will take things much further with his next "victim".
Hope your experience with him wasn't as horrific as mine.
