Alliance Asset Management or Alliance Energy Fund and all the other alliance companies are just shells he is using to defraud people.
He claims to run a trading program and claims he can raise billions out of leased instruments. This guy is an absolute fraud. There are a lot of rumors as to why he was arrested in georgia.
Well here is the real story. Steve Canady was arrested at the airport in in Atlanta, Georgia on his way back from his trip. He was put in jail and stayed there for a long time because no one could bail him out until his court date arrived.
First Steve is broke and the reason why he was arrested, he defrauded some investors out of $600,000.00 he promised to raise them over 90 million usd in funds by using his trading issuing of financial instruments program but he asked them to pay upfront $600K and they did. Today they are broke and have multiple lawsuits and are loosing their real estate project.
Do not pay this guy any upfront money, he will promise you the moon and the sky and once he gets your money, he moves on to the next victim.

In 2005 I was approached by a friend who informed me of a brilliant Neuro surgeon on leading edge of medical technology with a company called Bayou Technologies. My husband and I contributed $10k & closely watched to see if the friend would receive a significant return on investment in 30 days as she stated. Each time I inquired there were always glitches & excuses as to why they did not receive their investment back in 30 days 100 fold. Although the prospectus appeared thorough & professional we did not receive our investment certificates I'm the timeframe as committed. At this time I instinctively knew something was wrong with this proposition & all of a sudden Steven Canady (I don't believe he has a medical degree at all).. What I also don't know if my friend collude w this fraud b/c his responses began to appear sketchy as well-- even 11 yrs after this debocle the friend either dodges my questions or doesn't respond at all to my inquiry on how matters with his investment turned out. I've read about several indictments & one report claims the federal judge in Atlanta gave him a 10yr probation. As I continued to research this since Canady was a free man on probation he then moved his "snake oil" operation to the northeast creating companies with new name & different industries. I'm seething with anger b/c the government will allow white collar crimes to occur which bilks billions from the common middle class man/woman yet they won't prosecute nor give them hardtime in prison. Yet if you're caught w more than what 2oz of pot more than once you're locked up for years. Not to mention if your convicted a 3rd time. Our entire Justice system should be overhaul to cease this activity & give these evil moniacle bastards the hard time in jail they deserve.
