Steven Dixon Sprinkler System Service Steve's Sprinkler Service paid $2250 by my 91 yo mother for sprinkler install and well drilling and abandoned job Ft Lauderdale, Florida

WE are still waiting for Steven Dixon to complete his contracted work at my 91 year old mothers house in Pembroke Pines, FL 33026. My mother signed a contract with Steven Dixon on 4/16/2012 calling for installation of sprinkler system with drilling on a well for this purpose with water pump.

The first week after paying the check for $1750 (50 % of total with the rest payable upon completion of installation and well drilling) they began with installation of pipes and rubber tubes where normally the sprinkler heads would go. At the end of the first week of work he demanded 25 % increase in payment due to ?cost overruns? but my mother only agreed to pay another $500 instead of the $750 he wanted, how ever, He was agreed said he would complete the work as originally agreed f or that higher price. However, since that extra payment of $ 500 approx. three they have not done any work at her property. They did come one day to cover the pipes when I complained that my mother?s yard was a mess. I have called him at the number listed at your site which is the same he listed on his contract/receipt and business card and now no one answers. I found an address for this business at another web site and it appears to be a bogus address.

I need your help in getting this issue resolved. My mother wants this work complete and cannot afford to pay full price again to another contractor. She can no longer water the lawn herself as she did before, the last time she tried she fell down and could not get up on her own.
