At the NASA hearings in Pasadena steven sears presented the heat shield theory with no basis for scientific fact on the destruction of the first and second layer of heat shield protection for the reentry of the space shuttle.  This hearing at the JET PROPULSION LABRATORY IN PASADENA, CALIF  made a mockery of science in the public interest.
