STEVE'S SEWER-PLUMBING AND CONSTRUCTION - CLARKE CONSTRUCTION DECEPTIVE-HABUITAL LIAR Glenwood Illinois

I just purchased my first home sept 2009. My house was in need of some minor repair work,i was referred to D&G construction whom preformed shottie work so he was fired, then i found another general construction co. well so i thought. It was explained what all needed to be done and priced @ a reasonable agreed upon total. Steve was told that he was to basically just to complete unfinished work that was incomplete by D&G constr. I was told sure it wouldnt be a problem and he would be done in about 2-3 weeks. So much for that it took him more than a month and constance whinning of more money need for various things that was already i thought was first negotiated, in which i knew it was. Later on after numerous complaints to steve, he'd informed me that he was having financial problems and was filing bankructy. WOOOOOOOOW OOOOK, so i told him that's your problem not mine and stated to him, he shouldn't have taken the job if he wasn't able to commit to what we agreed upon. STEVE assured me he would complete the job, yeah right, he let me high and dry with uncompleted work, thus taking my money and leaving in the loop to find another contractor.
