I purchased a phone card from a local store here to make internetional phone calls and I chose STI A 2 Z phone card because it would give the most amount of minutes to the international countries I was going to dial. When I called the toll free number stated on the back of the card and entered my pin - minutes were completely different 36 minutes instead of 238 as stated on the poster at the store.
The International rates of the phone card from STI A 2 Z could be changed at anypoint without any notice??? The minutes on the poster is incorrect!
When calling the customer service - they said the minutes were promotional and they not responsible for the change and that it says so on the back of the card. I have read the back of the card several times now and nowhere does it say that the minutes could be changed.
If you are not responsible for the advertising poster who is then? the company you sell it to? no, becuase I buy the card due to what it says on the poster , if the information on the poster in incorrect I contact STI - for false advirtising the minutes on the phone card.
STI is a scam and they are advertising false information! The minutes do not match what the poster says.
If you are going to change rates on the particular country within a month reclaim your phone cards you have sold and send new cards. Or if the advertising poster says certain amount of minutes thats exactly how much you are expected to talk and it shouldn't be changed!!!
DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY! STI A 2 Z CARD IS A LIE!
STI company irresponsible!

Alternattives to rip off phone cards

I have been a victim of phone cards in the past. I understand all the gimmicks and other tricks that are used by phone card companies.
I am really glad with the one I currently use. The phone card company is (((ROR Redacted))). I have not had any problem using them and I have been using them for at least 18 months. They have customer service staff that actually care if your calls go through or not and will do whatever they can to make sure you do not feel cheated in any way. I have never looked at trying any other phone card since I have been using them. They are one phone card that eliminates all forms of gimmicks.
If you want to give them a try call them at (((ROR redacted)))
sorry, allowing you to give a competitors name would instigate others to just file against their competition, to only come back later to suggest their company, ..plus, if you post a competitors name more than likely they will show up on search engines as a Rip-off! - - your comments on this policy are welcome. CLICK here to see why Rip-off Report, as a matter of policy, deleted either a phone number, link or e-mail address from this Report. In this case we removed an alleged competitor's name
