The owner John, was using condescending tone and directly calling the customer cheap and ignorant. He also forced me to pay when I shouldn't have.
Spoke to me ridiculously rude. SOME OF THE RIDICULOUS EXACT WORDS "I DON'T UNDERSTAND HOW YOU DRIVE A MERCEDES AND DON'T WANT TO PAY FOR THESE". "YOU JUST DON'T KNOW ANYTHING ABOUT THESE PERCEDES BOLTS". Just because I can afford it doesn't mean I can and want to be ripped off. I am actually extremely knowledgeable in the field and work for an Large automotive corporation. In addition, he continually talk rude to me and walk away from me after I was polite and ask the appropriate questions a customer with a flat tire should have got. Not only that, after knowing that I didn't want to do additional work, John, the owner, decided to charge me a 90 dollars I wasn't told at first. I said, its ok then I don't want it to be done. He directly scowled at me and I was shocked by his expression. He then told me that he couldnt put my stock wheels back on unless I paid an install and uninstall price for it. I was forced to change everything and buy the overpriced bolts. Then he told me that I have to pay for this convenience. Walks away from, doesn't say a word to me after he takes my money. Didn't hand me the keys, didn't make sure everything was ok. GUESS WHAT!? YOUR MECHANICS PUT THE TIRES ON THE WRONG DIRECTION. THEY WERE DIRECTIONAL TIRES!!! THAT IS VERY UNSAFE luckily I discovered it and Had to pull over while driving home from work to go to another shop to get them corrected. I should have read the other reviewers complaints about his rude customer service earlier.

#2 REBUTTAL Owner of company
Not true, Not like it reads
AUTHOR: Jon Stokes - (U.S.A.)
SUBMITTED: Tuesday, June 02, 2009
Hi I am the owner of Stokes Tire Pros, My name is Jon. One morning a young male drove up into my drive way at the store. I was in a very good mood when this took place. I walked out to the customer to friendly greet him to be helpful. I could see pre built wheels in his back seat area. He ask me how much to install his wheels and tires? I gave him an answer of $25.00 just to mount his pre built wheels to his car. Mercedes have many models of cars and wheels between these models often are not interchangeable. I know this well so to be helpful I ask how he knew they would fit, so we wouldn't start off wrong. The customer stated they came off of another same model car same year. These wheels and tires were larger than stock, and still need to be test fit first, so fenders don't cut his tires. I know this, I am a tire professional. Customer noticed some uneven wear and ask about dismounting the two rear tires and reversing the direction to add to the life of the tires, I again gave him a price of $30.00 each, for custom 3 piece wheels that he was very clear about not scratching. this is the going rate today for over size custom wheels, he declined, said I was two expensive. I said nothing. I ask him if he wanted to balance the front tires or any of the tires to start off right, this way if any wheels were bent they would be found out first, this is for the customers benefit. Again customer declined. When we used his lug nuts he provided, the rears were too long and hit the e brake system. So I offered to sell him the right bolts. Again we were to expensive for him. I offered to put it back the way he came in for $20.00, now since we racked the car dragged all of his stuff out to install and now would have to put it all back. He called me a rip off. So I changed my attitude t words him. He is of no loss to me. We fix people cars as inexpensive as I can. This guy was just not up to speeding a dime. The rest of his story is a fabrication not the truth. He was not happy with me, I'll I did is use the best advice I had for him, I provided what he needed when he needed it, and kept him from destroying his rear brakes. He did not pay too much, and he left safe. please look at how happy our regular customers are. They trust us, and spend what is necessary all happy. This guy is out of caricature for or store. very unfortunate Jon

Why did you have them take off the wheels? What bolts did they claim needed replacement?
