When you inform the property manager of loud noise (muisic), kids jumping off a roof at night, or anyother community rule violation her most offen response is: What do you want me to do about it.   And when you tell her she does nothing. Rules are no street parking, no parking on temporay  cement stones, no broken blinds, no recreational veichles RV, etc. but she never does anything when these rules are broken. For almost 2 years a truck full of trash bag has been parked in the drive way. She, the maintance and all staff have driven past this home. Now the bags of an unknown substance smell so bad. If you walking or riding a bike past the house you have to not breath. But, if you  grass is barely to long you get a notice, and if you do not cut is in about 3 day- they will cut is and charge you about $45.oo. But this truck full of trash bags has been parked in a drive way for well over one year. Obviously she has not care about the trashy truck and how it looks to anyone.

Rules, Rules! For example: Only two guests (Mother and child/two people / minor counts as one person) per household are allowed at the pool. Another example: The pool is open for less than 5 months during the year. It takes about 5 minutes a day to check the chemicals. I ask: why the pool is not open, at the least, all the hot months during the year in Texas? And there are often so many leaves in the pool.  Sun Homes should keep pools open according to the weather in the area or State. The outside pool in a housing division down the road is open all year; this is proof of the care for people living in the San Antonio heat.

When you sign your new lot lease agreement you should not be surprised by the yearly increase.

They hired a police officer part time to patrol the park. Why do you think they decided to do this? Did they hire an off duty police officer because the crime rate in the park was low? You decide.

In my opinion the Stonebridge videos are old and out dated. Across Taft High School imagine the traffic. Just drive around 1604 and Culebra about 4 or 5 pm and check out the traffic. Check out the big ball park in the back of Stonebridge. Noisy and blinding flood lights when the park is used. Buildings are currently going up on both sides of the park. And Last, It used to be a country area. And, now it is business and jam-packed.

I moved my mobile home into this park and I paid about $3,000.00 for hardy skirting which is another rule/requirement via the lease. I would check on the cost of hardy skirting before moving a home into this park. But almost all the mobile homes they rent out or sell do not have hardy skirting. But do not be surprised when she tells you it is required in accordance with the lease agreement or community rules.  That is an expense you may not have expected, but she may not tell you until after you sign the lease agreement.

On Sept 4, 2013 Stonebridge Mobile Home Park posted a sign notifying residents that the community pool is closed for the season. Days are still hot, lawn grass are burnt to a light beige color and today Sept. 6, 2013 the temp is 95 degrees. MANAGEMENT CONVEYS THE REASON FOR CLOSING THE POOL IS BECUASE THE SCHOOL YEAR HAS BEGUN... The sign posted states: “… Now that the school year has begun, the pool will be closed for the season….” This communicates that the pool is open for the school age children; thus, it is not open when the weather temperatures 90 degrees for the residents, seniors’ residents, adults or for the weekend when the school ages children are not in school.   posted sign reads: Hello Stonebridge Residents: We hope you had a pleasant summer. Now that the school year has begun, the pool will be closed for the season. We will reopen in the Spring. Wishing you and your families a very pleasant school year. We hope you will join us on October 1, for our annual NATIONAL NIGHT OUT. Looking forward to seeing you there. Sincerely, Stonebridge Staff So tell me: What reason does this notice convey to you for closing the commuinity pool?
