Stop And Shop Digital Stop and Shop Bait and Switch Internet

I placed an order for a Canon lens online. They sent me an email asking me to call to verify my order, which I did. They then tried to tell me the lens was not for a digital camera (odd since the recommendation for it was from a digital camera web site). They then recommended another no name brand. I had previously researched others comments about this company and they said that this bait and switch was common, so I said no, I wanted the product I ordered. He went away for a long time and came back and said they would order it from Japan and it would come 4-6 weeks. I agreed. Within 1 minute, I got a form email saying it would be 7-13 weeks. It said I could cancel my order and showed me how. At this point, I did NOT cancel to see what would happen. Six days later, I got an email stating, "As per my request", they had cancelled my order. I immediately went back on their web site and the product was still (and is still) for sale.
