My real problems started when I decided to try a new and different spyware/adware tool under the name Stopzilla. I was lured into the purchase by a rebate offer of a half-price deal. It wasn't long after I downloaded the software that my system was showing trojan after trojan to the point where I could no longer use any windows based programs. I was able to stop the nonsense by opening my computer in the safe mode and removing any evidence of stopzilla via the add/delete programs on my control panel. Now as far as a rebate from these people goes. I still have not received one. I filled out the paperwork and sent it along with the registration code to the Boynton Beach address that was given. Do not be a fool like me. Check out ALL companies on Ripoffreport before you purchase. I knew I had it available but I ignored my instinct.

I have been using Stopzilla and other IS3 programs for several years. On theirnbehalf ad in contidiction to several Rip-Off Reports 1) I have received several rebate checks from them. Granted, they are very slow, sometimes taking 3 months, but they do send what they prmised. 2) The techs at Stopzilla are as thorough and caring as any you have ever delt with, and every one I have talked to speaks perfect English. 3) If you have a virus, trojan or any other problem, Stopzilla will work with you 24/7 until it is corrected. They will run special scans to help them identify your problems. One help session may take 2 hours which would cost over $100 at somewhere like Dell and it is done at no charge from Stopzilla. 4) I had so much success with the original Stopzill, I now use it, along with MaxPC and Shield Deluxe 2010 for all of my security software. It catches things that both McAfee and Norton's missed. I deleted the 3 years of McAfee that came with my new PC, started using Stopzilla, ad have ever had a problem that couldn't be remedied in a few minutes. 5) Most problems you incur have been identified and fixed before you even knew they existed. Give these guys a chance and I don't think you'll be sorry. After your initial subscription is up, talk to them and they can usually find you a great deal for renewal, such as a discounted fee or another rebate check.
