Story Real Estate/ Cliff Story, Broker Real Estate Agent Stole Our Money!! Delray Beach Florida

In March, we gave Cliff Story, Real Estate Agent, a check for a down-payment on a villa we wanted to rent. The check was for$2070.00. The check was cashed almost immediately. One week later, Cliff Story called us and said the villa had been sold so we would not be able to rent it. When we asked for our check back, he told us that he had cashed it and spent his commission!! He said this is common practice!! He sent us a cashier's check for $1260.00. One month later (April) he sent us a check for $200.00 and now it is mid May and he is not returning our phone calls. He still owes us $610.00.
