Other problems not mentioned in my original report are these. When texting you can only send out 5 at a time unlike other services where you can at least 10. When you receive a text it won't show you who it is from until you open it. If its a picture text, you have to "retrieve" it which sounds easy, but on straight talk "retreiving" takes hours if not days on some of the messages. I started just deleting some of them as it wasn't worth the headache. Not knowing who texted me has been a problem from the beginning as you have to open it to see first. I would like to know before looking on some of them. The sim card problem is a major headache. I did receive one for this phone (which started the shock of learning I now had a different number), and they wanted me to wait a week for another new sim card to try to get my old number back. I needed the phone now which is why I dealt with them changing my number. Reading these other reports on here, everyone has the same problems. What one person may have left out and another written about--I am sure they wish they had added that to their report as well. Yes straight talk is cheap, but cheap doesn't mean lack of service if they advertise that they do it--then don't? To me its just a money making way for them to rip off consumers. Not worth it. I'll pay more and go with a reliable service with a contract.
