Sounds very similar to our experience. We went through 4 horses from this farm and not one of them was right. That 3 week gaurantee is there to suck you in but you will never find the right horse. I went there with my wife and kids looking for a second horse for our 14y.o. daughter. She had been riding since she was 4 and a quite accomplished rider. They took complete advantage of that. They had her ride about everything at that farm and not one that really knew how to jump, knew changes, knew much of anything. Many were lame and many clearly not what she was looking for but they were still pushing. She needed a horse that could do 3' and not right away but with potential. I finally asked PLEASE just show us a sound one. Then the next few came out and I am not positive but if their private area is dangling and their eyes are half closed I was suspecting drugs. They were stumbly and not really all there. In the end she did find this one 4y.o. appendix horse. Nice horse, that day. PPE and got him home a week later. WOW is all I have to say. NOT the horse we saw that day. Make a long story short, 4 horses, 4 PPE's, 2 failed drug tests, no good horses. We too settled on having them buy us out. We started with a $6500 horse. Upgrade, upgrade, upgrade, and 4 PPE's=$13,000. We excepted $2500 and RAN. That was the best money we ever lost. We will NEVER return and NEVER recommend them to anyone. Terrible terrible experience and wasted a entire show season on top of it.
