Strategic Evaluations Inc. Service Evaluations Inc. Failure to pay for mystery shopping assignments as promised. Claims I was discovered not doing assignments honestly and instead of helping me come to some form of mutual resolution we can agree with, they've been ignoring my emails and phone calls - and have yet to pay me. Surrey British Columbia

Strategic/Service Evaluations Inc. is a mystery shopping service that provides assignments to secret shoppers who wish to earn a few $ as they evaluate assigned stores during their shopping routines.  I'm familiar with mystery shopping services as I have worked with them off and on for over 10 years.

This particular mystery shopping company, instead of paying me in a timely manner as stated on their policies, have come up with a story that their client has video footage proving I didn't do my job as honestly as I claimed.  Apparently there's a dispute.  So, instead of payment, they asked to hear back from me.  I did that immediately.  I wasn't angry as it wouldn't be the first time I encountered this.

I expected a response at least within 24 hours.  Got none.  48 hours go by and in the meantime I sent a few more emails, offering some sound suggestions how to come to a resolution that'd be a win for everyone.  Still no response.  Started phoning.  You never get anyone.  Only an answering machine.  And as of yet, have not had one call returned to me.  There's been no response to my emails and to this day have not been paid for even so much as one assignment yet.  And payment is now overdue.

Whether or not they're deliberabely scamming me or not, bottom line is they're being most unprofessional in their conduct.  Enough so where I've taken the matter to the BBB also.  You don't run a company and treat people like garbage.  Also, their conduct makes it look bad for the company whom they're doing the mystery shops for.  I've also notified their client (in an unbiased manner) how this particular mystery shopping company is behaving and it paints a bad image for them also.

I just want to get paid, as promised, by this company and we part our separate ways permanently.  I should also point out I went from a paystub of over $238 to just $95.  Really?  WTF?
