I began working for Todays Staffing, a temp agency, 12/3/07. My first checks from them had health insurance premiums totalling $204.12 deducted, which I didn't authorize.
When I asked Todays about this, they said that the health insurance I had previously was being resumed. I was told they would get the money refunded, but it hasn't happened.
The last time I worked for Todays was 3/25/05. I worked for other companies during the 2 year 8 month interval. I don't see how they can take money from peoples' paychecks without their permission, especially after that length of time.
To me this is stealing. I've called SRC many times to get my money back, so far with no success. Todays Staffing told me SRC was the company I needed to contact regarding this.
I wonder if this has happened to anyone else and if it's legal.
