I was in the mall a couple of weeks ago happy about my new cell phone purchase. And ran across a kiosk that sold higher priced phone cases. The sales people were very anxious to get my business and spelled out all the features and kept stating that there was a 1 year warranty and if I had any problems just bring it back. There were 2 sales people in earshot and both were stating this warranty guaranty to everyone that would listen. I purchased the case and left.

Less than a month later I place the case on a counter in my house and the back clip that attaches to your belt popped off. The next day I went to return it 1 of the orignal guys was there but was busy with a sale. I approached another sales person and explained what happened and handed him my original reciept. He then told me he'd have to charge me a fee to replace the clip. I told him about the warranty the sales guy mentioned to me over a dozen times when I bought it. He said for me to show it in writing otherwise step away from his store. I stated that the warranty was what they told everyone that walked up during the time I was there. He said I was a liar and he didn't know any sale person that wouldv'e told me that. Even though one of the original sales people I talked to that day was there then not 5 feet away from us. Then he cursed at me using several four letter words then told me to have an expletive filled day.

I disputed the charge with my credit card and are waiting for their response so I can move on from this incident but I want others to be aware in case they are just walking thru the mall and offered a year warranty.
