I received an email offering me a job after uploading a resume on Careerbuilder.com from the Strol Group. The position was a Financial Agent and the description included providing the Strol Group with my bank account info so they can use it for payment processing. This sounded fishy to me so I decided to look into it further. I Googled them to find out more but came up blank. They provided a link to their website in the email so I visited the site which appears as legit as JP Morgan Chase, CITIGroup or any other high level financial organization. They provided photos and bios of the executive staff, which I Googled as well. This time, I got a hit. An exact duplicate of the website I had just visited; same building facade, same photos, same bios. One difference. The president, William Dowson of the Strol Group, was listed as "Marty May".
I believe this site is set up with the sole purpose of exploiting job hunters which there is an enormous supply of these days. It should be given particularly close attention due to the fact that it appears to be originating out of mainland China and is targeting American dollars. Very disconcerting.

I too was contacted, at first glance, by what seemed like a legitimate opportunity. The website looks really, really good. There is a detailed FAQ link, links to an article published in Forbes magazine,etc.. I even googled them and saw a report on the company at StockHouse.com. They are of course stealing that companies identity and trying to steal your money.

Don't be fooled - no real company is going to ask you to use your own bank account for anything!

I hope the proper authorities catch these guys..
