Stuart Allan And Associates, Inc. Threaten to Revoke Drivers' License and License Plates to Get Money Tuscon, Arizona

I was in an auto accident with an insured of State Farm. I agreed to pay and State Farm said they would send the bill when the repairs were done.

All of a sudden, about 3 months after the accident, I got a phone call from a lady (Anita) who identified herself as a nationwide insurance specialist with Stuart Allan. She said that my drivers license and license plate tabs would be revoked if I did not give my credit card number and pay them around $2000.00. I asked if I could talk to my state Attorney General's office, as my wife suggested, and she replied that was "bad legal advise."

I have found later, through my state AGs office, that the collections agent lied to me; that collections companies cannot revoke drivers licenses nor take license plate tabs, and that that is only for people who don't pay auto accident judgments. I am perfectly willing to pay, but they insist I must pay their amount, when I have a lower bid from a shop the person I hit demanded (in writing) to go to but State Farm would not allow.
