I first encountered Stuart Hill, Real Clear Communications, and Stuart Hill Designs, as he's otherwise known on February 11th, 2015.  After receiving a string of email blasts from him touting his companies' website creation abilities, I arranged to meet  Stuart Hill at my home office.  We spent an hour reviewing my existing website, and ideas I'd like to develop for the creation of a new website for my real estate brokerage and construction businesses.

He took copious notes, and sounded knowledgeable when discussing what may work best for Realtor and contractor websites.  We entered into a written agreement to complete a new, fairly detailed website, but something he claimed he would have no problem producing, with him showing me various websites he had completed for others with similar enhancements.  Subsequently, I paid him $1250.00 via check to get it underway.  BIG MISTAKE!!

I received an email from him a few days later via Basecamp, a file sharing service he uses to document his progress - which consisted of him setting up an account for me on Basecamp.  After that first email, I didn't hear from him for 3 weeks, on what was supposed to be a 10 day project.  After repeated calls and emails, I finally got Stuart Hill on the phone, (I believe he answered on accident, because he suddenly hung up, only to answer again when I called back) where he told me he had been physically ill, but that he would get back to me in a few days.  Fine, I just wanted to find out how the project was progressing.

Three weeks later, I still hadn't heard back from Stuart Hill.  It turns out he has no staff or any designers he works with, it's just him, and apparently the work he boast about is really other designers work.  I found this out by talking to others who had been ripped off by Stuart Hill.  Despite repeated messages left by me, emails and texts, Stuart Hill has disappeared with my funds, and I never received any work product from him - ever.

I will be contacting the Sacramento Police Department, the Sacramento DA's high tech task force, SAR (Sacramento Association of Realtors), Rip-Off Report.com, and Active Rain, to let the world know that Stuart Hill is a Rip off Artist.
