Student financial support, Erik Nordstrand Advertised tuition cost reduction, accepted payment, did not make any payments towards balance Internet

 This company who advertises themselves as a tuition repayment program that reduces your balance, and took a $100.00 payment from me that never posted to my account. If you call the customer service number even after hours, some random guy answers like it's his personal line. When I asked where my $100.00 payment went, I was told, " it was collected by Student Financial for the document preparation plus the monthly and annual recertification of my file". This company never discussed additional fees or service charges. I did not authorize funds to be withdrawn for any reason other than the repayment of the balance of my loan.

The agreement was: an income based repayment plan for the sole purpose of decreasing my loan balance. Niether the rep nor any member of this organization disclosed that any portion of the payments made would be used for purposes other than repaying my loans. I requested that the funds withdrawn be refunded to my account and they tried to keep the $100.00 payment until I threatened them. I had to file a dispute with the bank, cancel my card on file, and threaten to report them to the federal trade commission, and Consumer Financial Protection Bureau. Don't trust these people.
