Student Loan Exchange Fraud, scam Santa ana California

In a desperate mine set I took action right away and called these people at Student Loan exchange. They told me if I make 3 on-time payments of 230 dollars that the department of education would take over the payments and I would get a receipt in the mail of zero dollars. I gave them all my information and made those payments on-time. I eventually started getting suspicious when I got mail from a legit loan consolidation company saying my payments of 85 dollars would start in March. Never did I get mail about the payments I already made. Than yesterday I finally decided to look up things about Obama's Student Loan forgiveness program only to find out it doesn't exist.
