Student Services, Inc. Lying, cheating scammers! Addison,Dallas,Cedar Hill, Texas

I was contacted via phone by a very pushy salesperson who told me my child had signed up to be sent Student Services' products, which I found later to be untrue.  She also lead me to believe they were affiliated with another legitimate firm that I had done business with, which I also found to be untrue. 

After fooling me into allowing them to send their CDs, she assured me my credit card would not be charged unless I decided after the 14 examination period that I wished to keep the materials.  My card was charged the following day!  After I received the materials, not only did I feel it was a bunch of junk, but I was quite upset about having been lied to and manipulated, so I called for an Return Authorization. 

 I was told by Ella in customer "service" that I had to fill out an on-line waiver in order to proceed.  This waiver actually wanted me to agree to a $5,000 fine to be imposed by Student Services if I contested any of their charges with my credit card company!  Needless to say,  I did not agree to the terms.  Anyway, I called Ella the next day and she told me that since I'd had the materials longer than 14 days they would NOT take them back. PERIOD.    When I asked to speak to her supervisor, she told me she was the supervisor. 

After this exchange, I immediately contacted my credit card company to dispute the charges and block Student Services from making any future charges.  I also looked them up with the Better Business Bureau.  Turns out the owner of this company also owned another similar scam firm that is in legal trouble.  Those reports can be seen here:

There are many other complaints JUST LIKE MINE about Student Services on other websites, as well.  If I only knew that when they called!!! These people need to be shut down.
