Studio City Rehabilitation Filthy and mistreats patients Los Angeles CA

I am another unhappy customer of this establishment I sent my elderly parent here and they almost died. Here's a tidbit of complaints on Yelp and summary of all of the negative feedback which we also experienced and witnessed.

1. Neglect and Poor Medical Oversight:

• Reports of patients' health deteriorating due to inadequate care, such as significant weight loss and lack of timely medical attention.

• Concerns about inappropriate medication management, leading to adverse effects.

2. Unsanitary Conditions:

• Accounts of unclean facilities, including dirty rooms, presence of pests, and unsanitary practices like filling IV bags from sinks.

• Observations of staff eating over medication carts and general lack of hygiene.

3. Inadequate Staffing and Delayed Responses:

• Instances where minimal staff were available to care for numerous patients, leading to long wait times for assistance.

• Reports of patients being left unattended for extended periods

4. Restrictive Visitation Policies:

• Complaints about strict COVID-19 protocols preventing family visits, including mandatory testing and masking.

• Allegations of inconsistent enforcement of these policies by staff.

5. Poor Communication and Transparency:

• Families reporting difficulty obtaining information about their loved ones' care.

• Concerns about lack of updates regarding patients' health status and treatment plans.

6. Regulatory Deficiencies:

Bottom line, they don't care about you and will just bilk your insurance money. Nasty nurses that are also mean-spirited and impatient, understaffed, filthy infested with roaches, you come home with scabies and much worst than you started with, left to rot in your bed to pee and defecate there sitting in your own filth. Please don't send your loved one here for hospice care or long term care. These issues have been going on for many years it seems.
