Studio City Rehabilitation - Jeremy Iris Calayag-Laxamana Cruel, bad service Studio City CA

I am writing to formally express my concerns regarding an experience I had as a patient at Studio City Rehabilitation Center several years ago involving Nurse Jeremy Iris Calayag-Laxamana. While I understand that some time has passed, the impact of that experience has stayed with me, and I believe it is important to share it for the sake of awareness and possible improvement in patient care.

During my stay, I encountered several issues related to Nurse Calayag-Laxamana’s conduct and approach to patient care. Specifically, I felt that the level of professionalism and compassion expected from a healthcare provider was not consistently demonstrated. There were instances where my needs as a patient were met with indifference or delayed responses, she rolled her eyes all the time, made snarky snide comments and injured my arms when getting blood drawn causing big welts and bruising the next day as she missed my veins several times which not only affected my comfort but also left me feeling dismissed and disrespected, then she had the audacity to laugh at my misery and pain. 

Effective communication and empathy are critical components of quality healthcare. Unfortunately, my interactions with Nurse Calayag-Laxamana often lacked these elements. This created an environment that felt unsupportive and, at times, unnecessarily stressful during what was already a difficult period in my life.
