I ordered Study Mode in order to help me in my education. I fell into the trap of buying their $59 (approximately) offer of better searches etc. Well, I am on a Mac ..and don't know if that had anything to do with it but could not access their promised services. I had started a free account ..using another email address and I had signed on much later with my new email address and had created a new user name etc. Well, the person I talked to canceled the free account that I had forgotten all about and I started seeing the recurring every 3 months charge of approximately $59 a month on my credit card. Due to Christmas and other things, I wasn't paying real close attention to my credit card account as this is one I don't use as much. Well much to my surprise and dismay, I saw that Study Mode had continued to charge me after my cancellation. I disputed the charges with Capital One but they sent me a letter stating that I had not provided enough proof. ( I had sent them a copy of the correspondence that I found from "Sue Ann" about how to troubleshoot the problems I was having etc but they said this wasn't sufficient before hand. When I talked to the very nice customer service rep about my problems at Study Mode..she took down good notes and submitted them to Study Mode billing for a response to refund some of my money. This is the response I got:

Thank you for contacting us. We are sorry to hear you did not receive our response email sent to you in September. Unfortunately, the account was not canceled and too much time has passed to warrant a refund. 

However, we can assure you that the account is canceled and you will not be billed again. Thank you for your understanding.

So, they ripped me off. I couldn't use their promised services ....and they won't refund my money. BEWARE !!
