Well, lets say that perhaps she is at least buying the stock images that shes usingalthough Im pretty sure that the 2 drawings of cameras are off limitspersonally, that would really p*ss me off as an illustratorits just not cool.

I really like to see people do well on Etsy, but you cant be underhanded about it. I think she would do well to at least stick to the stock stuff (legally) and not claim its OOAK.

Buy a Wacom tablettheyre a $100 bucks, and you can make your own illustrations. Its easy to do and no one gets mad.

Oh, and she really should refrain from throwing stones in glass houses, and that sort of thing.

She has an Alice in Wonderland necklace where she credits someone for the picture, but none of her other necklaces give any credits so it made me wonder if the camera was stolen. For her sake I hope its not, or itll be a self call out on top of being a hypocrite.

They are ones to talk, if they are such experienced photographers then how come they dont know how to use the files they are given, do you know how many times they ask, HOW DO I PUT THESE ON MY PHOTOS, if they are such professional photographers then why would they ask! bottom line, they are a bunch of bored ladies who have nothing better to do with their time so they start these MOMMY PHOTOGRAPHY BUSINESSES. I think they all must think they are shooting for TIME MAGAZINE or something with the Behaviour they are carrying on with. What type of women anyway would act in such a mob mentality mannor , its just immature and if they can spend so much time posting all day long then they must have no business at all! Also there are a bunch of well known off etsy graphic designers who use clip art as well in their designs, stock images and photoshop brushes, and they are charging mega bucks for their premades!

Shes sold tons of the exact same mass produced pieces obviously NOT vintage. I guess if you cant do anything to slightly alter something (such as the rings) to call it handmade, you can just stick it in the vintage category instead.

He wrote back and said he has some camera illustrations people can buy but they cost a lot more than what shes charging for the necklace so hes going to look into it.

He also told my sister that shes the second person this week to convo him about someone on Etsy using his images as their own. Assuming hes talking about StyleMeSweet using them, that pretty much confirms from the artist that she didnt have permission to use his work either.

See also: rustic, shabby chic, french, paris, antique, industrial, midcentury modern, victorian. All terms massively abused and incorrectly used in many Etsy listings.

All perfectly Etsy-legal, though, and encouraged via the monthly merch report.

Here is a macob little antique motion desk lamp. Normaly when you see one of these lamps it of a train or christmas or sailboats. This one it of a cabin in the woods on fire! For the most part this lamp is in good shape for its age but there is a spot or two in the back of the glass print that is missing as seen in the pictures. Nothing good back there anyway and dosnt take anything away from this dark subject.

All she does is add trendy, cutesty fonts around art that is not hers and then calls it a logo. A logo is NOT clipart. It is NOT something anyone with $3 can purchase.

How DARE you call it a OOAK Never Resold Logo if its clipart with a name added above and below!! I can recreate it in 2 seconds heck, my parents who have no computer experience at all could download the clipart and add text above it in just a few minutes.

I feel SO bad for the sucker that purchases this and thinks they have a OOAK logo! Deceptive and dishonest that is what she is.

Just A Girl June 1, 2011 at 4:51 pm # I wasnt going to respond to your call out of my store but I just wanted to clarify a couple of things. I purchased vector images from http://www.vectorious.net. With my subscription I have license to use and modify the images that I have purchased. I didnt list my item as one of a kind, and didnt say I had had drawn these images. However, the image that I was called out for was VERY close to the original image and I have removed it from sale. However I do the the legal right to sell it without changing a thing.Im not a fraud, I, in no way took credit for making the original vector. I have also purchased a logo design software that comes with thousands of clipart and hundreds of templates just for the purpose of making logos.that is what this software is intended for making logos. Again, I purchased these images and have the legal right to use them. I had a logo designed for me by another Etsy seller and the image that was used in my logo was VERY similar to a piece of clipart in the Logosmartz software that I recently purchased. Now, I am in no way implying that this person used clipart but if she did, I dont care. The image that she made for me was beautiful and exactly what I ordered. The point is, as long as you arent taking credit for making the original clipart or vector that you are using in the logo that you designed you are doing nothing wrong. Take the time to look at logo design software and visit vectorious.net to read the licensing terms.all legal. I will continue to incorporate these images in the designs that I make and I have the right to do so. If you look around Etsy youll find similar (or exactly the same images). If I dont care, why should you?

That image is able to be used as a LOGO with the extended license from Vectorious (as Just a Girl stated in the post above you). Are you that stupid? If you dont believe us then please email the stock site the owner will in fact confirm to you that is completely legal to use it as a commercially sold logo. I verified that after JustAGirl posted her comments and she is correct you can in fact use artwork purchased with the Extended License for logos!!!!! I read Creative Cos listing and it doesnt state anywhere that they are claiming its handrawn. So why the call out???

Give it up Call out yourself for being a loser on a Sunday researching other designers you cleary are a designer trying to discredit others who are selling. Why else would you so relentlessly pursue this? Are you Katie Marshall from KMarshPhotos perhaps??? LOL!:-) Really, you are pathetic.
