We purchased two lane Retail POS systems that were sold to us as licensed software of Microsoft Dynamics RMS and an E-Commerce RMS Fusion to maximize our instore inventory for increased sales. According to Microsoft we are not in their system and the company has yet to finish the Website. It has been Three years since the purchase. We are constantly ignored on emails and phone calls. We have accumulated three years of back and forth emails with no conclusion. This company has three addresses listed when researching them and only one is valid and it is the address that is listed for the RMSFusion. I have asked for specific detail needed for the change of Partners to handle our POS and we got a run around and are on ignore again.

They have ignored the BBB complaint. We believe the software they sold us was Not For Resale product and explains completely why they cannot give me the information requested. A company who has been in business since 1998 per their website should know their product intimately and had our E-Commerce site working a year maximum from date of purchase.

 Also through my research many have said this is typicle of this company and they ignore you and hope you go away while they sell you products that don't work or are not licensed. In order for Microsoft to update our system they need the VOICE information I requested from them but have yet to receive. This information is given to the Microsoft partner at time of purchase from Microsoft. They claim they don't know what this information is. According to Microsoft they do.
Do not buy from these people talk to Microsoft Dynamics and get a list and reseach. We wish we had. We have requested a refund of $4998 the total amount for the unlicensed lanes and E-Commerce so we can move on and purchase actual licensed product and an E-Commerce that works.

Perhaps you'd like to answer my claim as well....as I DO have unlicensed software on my PCs - which I can prove I purchased from Styleteks, and 18 months later - I STILL DO NOT have PIN Pads or valid PRODUCT IDs for my software - which your company received payment for UP FRONT!  Since you have deleted my facebook posts - I know someone has read them...perhaps you would like to respond here?

I have left phone and email messages for 18 months (and have the phone and email records to prove it) - yet have not received so much as a courtesy call....and THEN, your 'new' company has the audacity to contact me regarding software updates.  Give me the software/hardware I paid for first!

I, too have been ripped off by Styleteks (or whatever their name is now)

I have the same complaint regarding Styleteks, now known as SimplePOS.  I have receipts and invoices showing the products ordered and proof of shipment of the products received.  Numerous phone calls and emails to all addresses at styleteks have gone unanswered.  I do not even know if I have legal software, as I was never provided with product IDs (techs also had to reinstall the product several times, as it kept giving 'invalid product id' errors).   I also paid for $500 worth of PIN pads which I never received....got the run-around for over a year before you guys just stopped responding to emails and phone calls.  If you would like to threaten me with a lawsuit - I will be more than happy to paste copies of all emails, phone records, invoices and shipping documents to this site as a rebuttal.

The 'knowledgebase' you promised us (I can send you the promotional material as well) is EMPTY!! I could keep going on and on about the failures, but I'll give Chris a chance to at least respond to these.  Twenty years IT - I've dealt with some pretty #$@#!! companies - you guys take the cake! (I used to work for a POS company - and I can tell you that Aloha/Radiant Systems NEVER treated a customer like this)

I just want my PIN pads, and valid Product IDs for my software (which I paid for) - you're costing me hundreds a month in unnecessary debit card fees.  For the longest time, your reps tried to tell me that they were at Mercury Payment Systems for "key injection", yet when I mentioned this to the folks at Mercury - they jumped as fast as they could to distance themselves from your company - in fact, they deny you sending them anything.

According to BBB they have closed the case since they could not get a response from Styleteks. 

As of this date they have not refunded our money nor provided any proof that our POS has valid software. Again according to Microsoft we are not in their system and if the product was purchased from them then we would be. Also to date Chris Birchby has yet provided us with information needed to transfer partnership to another company. The Voice information was requested in March of 2012. 

I am unclear as to who is responding to this and stating lawsuits etc... 

The person is stating he/she is one of the owners and that I have never done business with them. My receipts say otherwise. Your company Styleteks may have recently changed the name to simple pos but your still styleteks according to your website.

I am one of the owners of Simple POS who is listed in the title of this ridiculous complaint. It should be noted, the customer who filed this complaint has NEVER DONE BUSINESS WITH OUR COMPANY. We have hired counsel to represent us and go after this person for liable. Therefore I will not elaborate any further. As far as the rest of the complaint goes, it is filled with inaccuracies and untruths. StyleTeks, the company who did business with this person has also hired legal representation, so I will not elaborate further on that part of the complaint. Suffice it to say, this is a disgruntled person who has taken the liberty of putting together a story to fit their needs, then made the mistake of filing public complaints that are filled with untruths. Rather than fight publicly, we will allow the justice system to give us the forum to respond.
