The week of Christmas I had my car towed in. He told me there was a problem with the timing belt and that is why my car wasn't accelerating properly. He fixed it in 2 days, i paid in cash and left. I noticed that the car was jumping as it did before, but he informed me that this was because the transmission was slipping. The next day when i tried to get in the car and leave the car wasn't accelerating at all and i could hear noises from under the hood. I called Lamonte and he said he wasn't able to locate the tow driver and they'll pick it back up after christmas. The 26th came and No Lamonte. I eventually went in and he stated that he would have the tow truck driver to me by the next day.
Next day came and no word from Lamonte. The weekend came and went. That Monday I went in and Lamonte wasn't there. The other worker claimed he couldn't get in touch with him and said he would contact me when he called him back. later that day he calls and tells me that Lamonte said he wasnt giving me a refund because he perfomed the work he said he was going to do.
Lamonte knowingly "worked on" something that he knew wouldn't fix my car. And also tried to blame it on the fact that the transmission was slipping. He failed to inform me that fixing the timing belt was just the least of my problems. Lamonte Brown will talk your ear off claiming he knows what the problem is doing and you will have your car soon.
He is a fraud, a fake, a liar and should be shut down. He has his store front up as a windown tinting service. His workers look like they have no skills what so ever and i didn't even see any type of garbage on premises. I honestly don't believe he is certified.

Lamonte did not reach out to anyone. Lamonte wasn't even there when I went back. How are you a businessman and don't answer your phone for your employees. You said you fixed the car where it could drive. It was worse when i received it back. You wouldn't even give me a partial refund for the work that you incorrectly diagnosed.
I don't know what part of you" did not fix anything" , you don't understand. Yes I understood that my car would need more work down the road, but that does not mean you "fixed" one thing, and say i can still drive it. I could not drive it. How about you please tell me where that means you "fixed" the problem i originally brought to you. You did not fix anything. You are a ripoff. You are digging a bigger hole by answering these reports.
You are a liar and a fraud.

I had advised the client that his vehicle had more problems than it was originally being brought in for. Explained that the car was going to need additional work. The client stated that he would fix the other problems down the road. Because of the holidays the client was informed of delays to complete the repairs. Tried to reach the client to on several occasions but was unsuccessful.

If there is a problem with a car and you made a promise to pick up a vehicle with no call no show, you as a business man are horrible at your job. No one was looking for a cheap repair. You stated a price and i agreed to it. I did not look for a bargain. I was looking for my car to be fixed, not returned to me in worse condition. You do not answer your phone. Your employees have blood shot eyes and look like they don't have the mental capacity to open a can of corn. You dear sir are a con artist.

As the owner of SunBlockers Auto I am unsure of how I can address this complaint. The only thing I know is a mystery customer came to my shop and had work done. There is absolutely no name, type of vehicle, date of service or even a contact number. As a small business owner I have no control over the interent complaints. Any customer can get mad about service performed. A lot of customers want major work done for minor repair prices. We do all we can to make everyone happy but there are some that will never be happy.
