I recently was involved in American Cancer Society's Relay For Life in Hollywood Ca. that is where I ran into Herbal Chi Balm, It's Inventor and "Arrogant" CEO Roland Ludlow. I know they donated 48 jars of Herbal Chi Balm even though last year there were 3,000,000 walkers and 600,000 of them were Cancer survivors 48 jars just seems to be "Not enough" for over 3,000,000 participants but I know now days some companies will do anything to make them look good. I spoke with Roland CEO of Sun Born Natural Products and he told me a story about his thumb and index finger were not very flexible due to playing guitar for the last 50+ years, I have the same problem from Arthritis which Mr. Ludlow said will help with pain and flexibility.

After applying the product to my fingers I must admit I felt absolutely nothing Mr. Ludlow assured me "Give it a couple days". I was really interested in the product Mr.Ludlow had me until he kept talking and talking and talking I went from wanting 1 jar to 100 jars to 25 minutes later wanting to run with my life. I have never in my 60+ years met a man so "Arrogant" as Mr. Ludlow. I think he actually believes he is "Mr. Wonderful" shhh not even close. I also met Greg Yau the inventor who told me it had 20 Hot and Cold herbs in it (Kind of like Icy hot?). Any way I saw him pull on this mans arm and he lost his balance then after applying the "Herbal Chi Balm" Snake oil stuff he jerked on the mans arm again and he didn't even move "WOW I thought if he only knew I could tell he only acted like he was yanking the mans arm and I said "Self your over 60, wear glasses and there still trying to pass off snake oil". I must tell you I have seen some slick sales folks in my life and I've seen some not so slick BUT those 2? If they sold a jar as of today then that's 2 to many.

Beware of Herbal Chi Balm and there false claims good for arthritis? Shea butter with herbs? I say lard with 1 drop of snake oil. Wait until the big companies that actually make products that help us here about these 2 knuckle heads, That's why we have companies like the FDA to protect us from evil and greedy companies that prey on the old and sickly. Take it from an old lady that has seen and heard it all SHAME ON YOU Roland Ludlow and Greg Yau (Get a new hairpiece) DO NOT BUY HERBAL CHI BALM you would be better off paying for your prescriptions.

Absolutely Fake Report - 2nd rebuttal

AUTHOR: RGL - (United States of America)

POSTED: Tuesday, September 11, 2012

The other person who posted here was accurate that the dates stated in Betty C's report do not add up. The dates of Betty C's review were month's later, well after the Relay 4 Life event. Why would someone wait months then write a review? That makes no sense. Additionally, we stand behind our product. We give a full money back guarantee and still, no one has ever returned even one jar, or asked for a refund. All the professional athletes on our website that endorsed Herbal Chi Balm, use the product. Not one asked for compensation for their endorsement or testimonial, and that is a fact that we CAN  prove. Their testimonails are un-biased, expressing their personal experience with Herbal Chi Balm, stated in their own words.

All the evidence clearly suggests that Betty C's report is completely false. We never met this person, or gave them any product to try. There were absolutely no demo's done for anyone. We have plenty of witnesses to attest to that fact. The sealed jars were given away in gift bags. The statements made in Betty C's report are 100% fabrication, and completely false.

If this person attended the event, then we would like them to offer up some real proof that they were at the 2011 relay 4 Life in Hollywood. Something that can't be found by researching the internet. For instance: Where was the parking for the event? Was it on the grounds, out on the street, or in a special designated area?  Were there any parking passes for the event? What was the exact location of the VIP tent? Anyone who attended would know the correct answers.

Thank you for reading our rebuttal...

Really?

I have no idea who the OP is and have never heard of this companies product.  I was just caught up with a couple of the claims that the OP made, which leads me to think that they might not be totally truthful.

I recently was involved in American Cancer Society's Relay For Life in Hollywood Ca. that is where I ran into Herbal Chi Balm, It's Inventor and "Arrogant" CEO Roland Ludlow. I know they donated 48 jars of Herbal Chi Balm even though last year there were 3,000,000 walkers and 600,000 of them were Cancer survivors 48 jars just seems to be "Not enough" for over 3,000,000
- The OP claims to have recently been "involved" with the Hollywood Race For Life.  This event took place in July, it is now October when they posted it.  Is that recent?

I also wonder how they were involved because they claim 3,000,000 walkers and infer that that was just the Hollywood Walk.  Here is the problem with that, there are just under 10 Million people in all of LA County.  So that would mean that just about 1/3 of LA County would have been there.  While it would great if that happened, it would also have made major news.  So in looking for information on this event, the best number I could find is that just under 200 people attended the Hollywood event in 2011 and I don't think they had 2,999,800 less people this year.

So while I would hope the OP would be truthful, I would also think that if they were there they could tell the difference between 200 and 3 Million people.

Absolutely Fake Report

AUTHOR: RGL - (United States of America)

POSTED: Monday, October 17, 2011

I am the owner of Sun Born. The situation which is described by the claimant never occurred,  is entirely without merit, and totally false. We never demonstrated any product on anyone at the Hollywood Relay for Life event. We did donate over $1000 worth of product to the cause.

We have never had one complaint about our products, and we hold ourselves in the highest esteem as an ethical company. Our endorser's are USERS of our products, and they are people who would NEVER be involved with an unethical company. These endorsers include 3x Lightweight Champion of the World Tony "The Tiger" Lopez; Actress Marina Anderson ex-wife of TV Kung Fu Icon David Carradine; World Class Sprinter and 100m Record Holder Patrick Johnson, and many more professional athletes, doctors, and health practitioners.

Unfortunately, anyone can put a report on Ripoff, and it can never be removed! Ripoff is not legally obligated to check the source of any report placed on their website.

We do know that it is a "MAN" we let go that wrote the slanderous material, and not a helpless old woman as he portraits. We are taking steps to remedy the situation.

We live in world with people who are hateful, and vicious. It is extremely dis-heartening to all of us at Sun Born that someone would go to such an extreme to try to cause damage to our company.

We will continue to be forthright in all that we do, and continue to move in a positive direction.
