*Consumer Comment: Prosecute them for what?
I would like to report the Sun Gas Station located on S. Semoran Boulevard in Orlando, FL for price gouging. I needed to fill up my rental car before returning it at ORL International Airport and hit the first gas station on Rt 436/Semoran Blvd to fill it up. When I got there I was in such a rush to get the car filled I didnt notice until after I started pumping gas that i was paying $5.14 per gallon.
This is a complete rip off and required nothing more said. Please SHUT these people down or prosecute them to the fullest extent of the law.

Prosecute them for what?

They could sell gas for $10/gal if they wanted to. If people still buy it for that price, there must be a market for $10 gas.
What you describe is common at several gas stations near the airport in Orlando (and in other cities as well). They take advantage of people who need to fill up rental cars before returning them. It only works if you decide to fill up without bothering to check the price. To most people it's pretty obvious. What sort of gas station does not prominently post their prices so they can be seen from the street? (the one that charges ridiculous prices).
