Firstable signed the back of the check from GEICO Insurance made out to Suncoast Customs and my name; I had never endorse or signed the back check in the amount $ 14,940.13 ck # 102203497.
I contacted the GEICO Insurance Co. SIU
and they told me there is nothing that they can do for me.

I had never authorized any repairs or endorse any checks; on the estimate prepared by Mr Dante Guarascio owner of the shop said NEW PARTS, few days later I went to pick up the truck to bring it to another shop; and my truck was all apart in pieces; I asked him to put it together and NOT to do any repairs; but later when I went to pick my truck I was told by Mr Dante that GEICO authorized him to do the repairs.
I has been 60 days and my truck is sitting there with used parts and $14,940.13 check cashed by Mr Dante.

I reported this to the Sheriff Office in Dunedin and as usual, I am NOT white so everything goes in the investigation bin (Ignore Bin) they told is very difficult to proof who signed that check in the back.

In the meantime I have my hands tied waiting for my truck to be ready; regardless me ever signed any agreement of repairs.

I contacted an attorney firm and they want $5,000 to start the case.
The SIU and the adjusters of Geico is in cajun with the body shop they said there in nothing that they can do for me.
Now he is looking for an additional $6,000.00 in suplemental for repairs.

My understanding thru few of his employees is that he have few problems with customers; and the use of USED PARTS is a very common practice in this shop...another employee told me that after he cashed the checks, then he take his time to fix the automobiles...many time the Sheriff Deputies has to come to the shop.

I checked with the Pinellas County Sheriff the reputation of this individual and the answer was NOT A PERSON OR SHOP TO TRUST !
