Suncoast Marine Management Suncoast Marine Sales, Inc. Sold our boat in May...NO money YET!!!! 8290 Bay Pines Blvd, Florida

In early May, Suncoast Marine Management (dba Suncoast-Marine Sales), at 8290 Bay Pines Blvd, in St. Petersburg, told me they could sell my boat.  I told them what amount I had to have in order to pay the credit union that holds the title to the boat.  Within several days the boat was sold and we were told we could expect a check to be sent within a week.  At around that time, our credit union called and said we were late on our boat payment.  I told them the boat was sold and they should have gotten a call for the exact payoff amount from Suncoast.  I called Suncoast, talked with the Vice President, MARK CONNOR, and asked him about the payoff and the check.  He told me three checks he mailed for sold boats had been "lost in the mail".  Their bank was reissuing a new check that we could expect in a couple of weeks. 

Several more weeks passed and still no sign of the check.  After repeated calls to MARK CONNOR and from our credit union as well, that were not returned or taken or were sent to voice mail, it's apparent MARK CONNOR is stalling and obviously is robbing Peter to pay Paul and doesn't even have the money he took from the new owner!!  It appears he has no intention of paying us!

More than two weeks ago, my wife drove to St. Petersburg and confronted MARK CONNOR.  He said he didn't have any of the papers concerning the boat as his "Regional Manager" had the file.  MARK CONNOR and his wife, MARY CONNOR, the President, OWN THE BUSINESS!!!  He told my wife the check hadn't been released from the bank yet.  He said he would call the bank the next day as it was late and he would either call or e-mail my wife about the check.  Three days later he had his salesman e-mail my wife and told her that MARK CONNOR said the check would be to us in two weeks, at the latest.  It will now be three weeks tomorrow, Thursday, October 7th, and there is still NO CHECK, NO CALLS, NO E-MAILS, NO CUSTOMER SERVICE....because THERE IS NONE!!

The bottom line is simple.....either GIVE US OUR MONEY owed, including the late fees that have accumulated OR GIVE US OUR BOAT!!!  FIVE MONTHS is beyond the patient level for a business transaction!  Keep in mind....the new owner doesn't even hold a title for the boat!!!!  He's been RIPPED OFF as well!!

Let this serve as a WARNING!!  DO NOT trust MARK CONNOR or Suncoast Marine Management with YOUR BOAT!!  MARK CONNOR is DISHONEST, UNETHICAL, an EXTREMELY POOR BUSINESSMAN and RUNS A QUESTIONABLE BUSINESS!!!  Just look at other RIP OFF reports and talk to others who have done business with him  You'll see what I mean.
