Suncoast RV Rental Sales and Service Walter RV RENTAL SCAM HAS AN ALMOST PERFECT SCHEME TO DEFRAUD CONSUMERS Tampa, Florida

Me and my wife (with our kids) rented an RV from this business.  IF YO ARE THINKING ABOUT IT---DON'T DO IT,  THIS BUSINESS RIPPED ME OFF FOR OVER $900.

After we dropped the RV off, Wally Williams did a personal inspection and there were no problems or damage to with the RV. He makes you sign a receipt of delivery, tells you everything "looks good" and then in the following month of your credit card billing cycle, he bills you again for the almost identical amount of your rental fee, hoping people will not catch this double billing.

Before you take delivery of the vehicle, he also collects a security deposit, in my case $1250 and makes you buy insurance in case the vehicle is damages.  Of course, after the alleged damge occurred, he said the repairs were less than the deuctable amount. Again, no notification before he goes ahead and bills you.

When questioned about the additional unauthorized charges to the credit card the following month, he then claims damage to the vehicle occurred, even though he inspected it at the time it was returned and that the 'extra charges" are for the repair costs, that he never notifies you of before he charges your credit card.

Remember, as I said above, he makes you sign a delivery receipt after you deliver the vehicle. part of his scam is that he fills in the alleged damges AFTER you have already signed the documents. So your signature appears on the document and he later and fraudulantly fills in the alleged damge AFTER he bills you.

Also, the vehicle was in his possession for 3 days before he "found the damge."  The damages were so obvious, had they occured in my possession (top front outside part of the vehicle) or noticed them they would have been addressed when I returned the vehicle.  

Furthermore, this guy, Wally Williams issued a credit to my credit card for the security deposit the day after the vehicle was returned ($1250).  

At the end of the day, this is not even about the $900 this scammer took from me, it is about doing the right thing and the fact we were able to piece together his fraudulent practice.

STAY AWAY FROM THIS BUSINESS.
