I have purchased several dogs on line from reputable breeders and have had them flown to me with great success from both the US and Czech Republic. Both myself, my vet and my sister agree that the dog I had thought I purchased in the proposed picture was not the one which I received. The dog had ear mites, worms, had its innoculatons given too early and had to have them repeated and was very withdrawn and very leary about being touched or picked up. He was 5 months of age when I received him. I was also told by my vet that he had a heart murmer...I contacted Mike and received a prompt email from he and Jody advising that that dog "Grizz" was the one in the picture and tho the picture had been taken 2 weeks prior his appearance could have changed dramatically..... I am not an ignorant dog owner but experienced in both owning dogs and breeding and find this situation an insult to my intelligence...Needless to say Sunnyview Kennel has done nothing to resolve this situation. The dog was a social mess and did not fit in my household with my other ShihTzu and I ahve alternatively had to find a good home for him... Be leary who you purchase your "forever pets" from because they may not be what you bargained for or one you can keep "forever".....

The puppy in the picture that the customer picked and purchased was the one sent to this customer. The customer could have requested extra pictures before purchasing, the pictures were two weeks old at the time of purchase. This puppy was the only puppy of this age and color left so mixing up was impossible. The puppies listed on our website are the puppies available, when you pick one, that is the one you get. Puppies do get bigger, longer hair or fur and features change, just like people.
This puppy also received a health examination from a licensed veterinarian and received a health certificate two days prior to flying to his new home and I have the copy. During the examination, no problem was found as described. The vaccinations are given based on a veterinarian's recommendations and veterinarian's have different schedules.
This puppy was very friendly under our care and always eager to play. Puppies are like people, it takes a little time for them to warm up to a complete stranger which is understandable. Maybe I'm wrong but, the impression I got was the customer wanted to keep the puppy and be refunded.
We have been doing this for over 20 years and this is the first complaint ever of this nature. Needless to say, not everyone can be 100% pleased and the request to please can be unrealistic. We have many compliments and references from past customers over the years to prove this.
